PDS Cortex™ was developed by Professional Data Services (PDS), a pioneer in the medical practice management software field. Founded in 1973 and recognized as one of the most innovative medical software developers, this Hutchinson, Kansas firm serves hundreds of clinics and health care facilities nationwide – from from Delaware to Arizona and Oregon to Florida.
Products sold include PDS Cortex, medical practice management software, and Practice Partner,® an electronic medical records system (EMR). Both are fully integrated. Software updates are issued regularly

Customer services include technical support and ongoing customer training and education on components and updates. An annual customer meeting features training sessions, networking among customers, and an opportunity for clients to suggest new features and capabilities for software upgrades to PDS Cortex programmers.
Research, assessment and monitoring of the health care industry are ongoing to make sure PDS Cortex stays ahead of the rapidly changing health care environment, and remains compliant with HIPAA, reimbursement and other governmental regulatory issues.
